Large open-air retail center in Southern California. Aging exterior HID created uneven coverage and dark spots that hurt the after-dark experience. Full LED retrofit transformed the property and the drone footage made the before/after impossible to argue with.
The Problem
The existing exterior fixtures were a mix of vintages and color temperatures. Some areas were bright, others nearly dark. Tenants were noting fewer evening visits, and the property manager was getting complaints about safety in the back of the lot.
The Approach
Audited every existing pole, designed an IES-compliant LED layout, and installed unified LED fixtures across the parking field and perimeter building mounts. Coordinated with tenants and management to phase the work without disrupting operations.
The Results
The drone documentation is what tells the story — the entire property reads brighter, more uniform, and safer. Property manager reports fewer complaints, tenants have noticed the difference, and the maintenance burden has dropped.
