A JLL-managed shopping center that was dark, tired, and hard to shop at night. We designed and installed a full parking and building-mount LED retrofit. Every tenant reported satisfaction, and the property manager called out a significant increase in customer visits during evening hours.
The Problem
Summit Ridge had the same problem every aging shopping center has: metal halide pole lights that were failing one by one, uneven coverage, dark spots that made shoppers feel uneasy, and a mounting maintenance bill that the property manager was tired of fielding. Tenants were asking the hard questions about visibility and safety.
The Approach
We audited every fixture on the site, designed a uniform LED specification across pole lights and building mounts, and coordinated with JLL to phase the install around operating hours. 480V pole conversions, building-mount retrofits on every facade, and full commissioning — one crew, one timeline, one point of accountability.
The Results
Across the property, tenants reported satisfaction with the new lighting quality and the property manager specifically called out a measurable increase in customer visits during evening hours. The maintenance call queue went from weekly to near-zero.
