In 2016, Tim Petro founded LED Solutions on a simple insight: commercial buildings waste an enormous amount of money on lighting that nobody thinks about. Property owners were fielding maintenance calls every week. Electricity bills kept climbing. The fixtures were failing faster than they could be replaced.
Matt Petro, Tim’s son, joined the business full-time in 2020 — right into a company that was struggling through COVID and running a negative P&L. Instead of cutting, he rebuilt: every process, every install standard, every client conversation.
The company that emerged does something different. It approaches buildings as electrical systems, not as overhead. It measures before it recommends. It installs with long-run thinking instead of next-quarter thinking. And it maintains what it builds — so the savings still work five and ten years in.
In 2026, LED Solutions became Energie Solutions — reflecting what the company actually does now: full electrical contractor work, lighting, controls, and ongoing service, all under one contract.

Evolves into Energie Solutions — a full electrification partner for commercial buildings. Lighting, controls, electrical, and ongoing service — one contractor, one contract, one point of accountability.
